6 Best Shopify Customer Account Page Apps in 2026 (Honest Comparison)
Shopify’s new customer accounts ship with four bare pages and a branding editor — everything beyond colors and fonts comes from apps (here’s the full breakdown of what’s customizable). This comparison covers the apps that do it.
One disclosure before anything: we make Account Blocks, one of the apps below. To keep this useful rather than promotional, every entry includes the case where you should pick something else — including over ours. Prices are at the time of writing; check each listing.
The single filter that matters in 2026: the app must be built for the new customer accounts (UI extensions), not the deprecated legacy templates. Everything below passes it.
The two kinds of app in this category
Before the list, know what you’re shopping for — the category splits in two:
- Content-block apps add your content (banners, FAQs, custom text, pages) into Shopify’s native account pages. Lighter touch; Shopify’s pages stay the foundation.
- Portal apps replace the account experience with their own designed portal — order history, profile, and features in one interface.
1. Account Blocks (ours) — content blocks with the deepest targeting
Account Blocks adds content blocks to the profile, orders and order status pages, plus full custom pages linkable in the account menu. The differentiator is conditions: show each block by customer tags, total spend, order count, country, order status, or B2B company — most rivals stop at tags, if they target at all. Customer metafields can be inserted into content and resolve per customer. Impression/click analytics included on the $19 plan.
- Pricing: Free (1 block) · $9 Starter · $19 Growth (unlimited, B2B, analytics). Flat — no add-on fees.
- Pick something else if: you want a full portal takeover (see Froonze/CustomerHub), a loyalty points program, or you need exactly one static block forever and free matters most (see SureCust).
2. SureCust Account & Checkout Blocks — the free one
Content blocks for account pages (checkout too), tag-based visibility, entirely free at the time of writing, with custom blocks built on request. Carries the Built for Shopify badge.
- Pricing: free.
- Pick something else if: you need targeting beyond tags, analytics, or metafield personalization — free means the roadmap answers to no revenue.
3. Froonze Customer Accounts Concierge — the extensible portal
The most established portal app: replaces the account area with a widget dashboard, then extends via paid plugins — wishlist, loyalty, social login, custom forms, profile fields. Long track record, big review base, actively developed.
- Pricing: free core + per-plugin fees; total cost scales with how much you enable.
- Pick something else if: you only need content on the native pages (a portal is a bigger commitment), or per-plugin pricing bothers you.
4. CustomerHub — the turnkey portal
A designed, plug-and-play account portal: order history, reorders, profile editing, looks polished out of the box with minimal setup. One of the largest review bases in the category.
- Pricing: from ~$5/month.
- Pick something else if: you want granular control over what appears where, or per-segment content.
5. Custlo — the feature bundle
Many account-area features under one roof: customer fields, form builder, customer self-service order editing and cancellation, cashback. Fast-moving development.
- Pricing: free tier; paid tiers by feature set.
- Pick something else if: you want one thing done deeply rather than many things covered.
6. Hubble — blocks with analytics, at a higher price point
Feature-wise the closest to Account Blocks: content blocks, conditions, analytics, B2B support. The difference is packaging — entry around $19.99/month with analytics and B2B on higher tiers (roughly $39.99 and $69.99 at the time of writing).
- Pick something else if: the same capability set matters but budget does too — comparison-shop the tiers carefully.

How to choose in three questions
- Native pages or portal? Content on Shopify’s pages → blocks app (Account Blocks, SureCust, Hubble). Whole new account experience → portal (Froonze, CustomerHub).
- Does everyone see the same thing? If yes, the free option may be enough. If VIPs, B2B buyers, or first-timers should see different content, you need real conditions — that’s the line where paid apps earn their fee.
- Are you mid-migration from legacy? Then pick the app before you switch, so your rebuilt content goes live the moment the new pages do. The migration guide has the full checklist.
